I pitched and won the assignment to create awareness about non-point source pollution for the City of Austin Watershed Protection Department.
The agency conducted stakeholder interviews with various experts from each division to understand the challenges they faced and the behaviors within the Austin community that needed to change.
My creative partner and I wrote stories for engaging animations that highlighted key behaviors. We directed an animator based in Paris and a Chicago-based stop-motion artist in the creation of each scene based on our storyboards and production notes. We directed the voice talent for the delivery of the voiceovers and worked with an editor and sound designer in Chicago for the final cuts. We also exported key scenes to create OOH graphics that were featured around the city.
